We
begin by doing a preliminary diagnostic analysis to ensure that
we have an initial understanding of the scope of the learning
project. Once learning objectives and goals have been mutually
agreed upon, modules are selected or designed according to your
needs. The overall learning program is then reviewed with the
learning management team to reaffirm the initial understanding
of the scope of the learning project.
Audience sampling and analysis are always done to test for
learning resistance and to set the stage for success. An SBP
group onsite training consultant
will conduct one on one
random telephone interviews to see if there are
any gaps between goals of the learning program and the day to
day challenges of your people.
As a follow up to attending the session, supervisors are coached
on a one-to- one basis on how to ensure the learner continues on
their path of self-direction by learning our “positive feedback
model.”
Information delivery is a reflection of the preparation
completed previous to the first day of training. The content of
the learning program is designed to help the learner make their
own transformation in thought and skill set. This design
philosophy moves the learner toward self-direction as an
employee.
Now that training has finished and your people are back to the
reality of their daily challenges. Day to day pressure and the
large amount of new information from the training session can be
overwhelming for the learner. We answer these challenges by
setting up our five- step follow up program for the learners, so
that they can focus on their new skills to move from philosophy
to functionality.
Two key elements of a successful training day are entertainment
and information. Competition for the attention of the learner
continues to be a major issue in adult education. With
intensified work demands coupled with the present speed and
delivery style of information, leader led training programs
must be delivered in such a way that holds the learner’s
attention. Once you have the learner’s attention then you can
deliver the informational content of the training program.
